Ethel M’s Cactus Garden Holiday Lights

A perennial favorite of locals who call Las Vegas home and those that just come to visit is the Ethel M’s Cactus Garden Holiday Display. With a display of over 1 million LED lights, visits with Santa and photo opportunities to build a lifetime of memories around, this annual tradition only grows stronger each year.

Although scheduling and accessing will be challenging under the COVID-19 restrictions, working with local and state officials, Ethel M’s management and employees were not about to give up or give in. This year the Garden will be open from November 8 {2020} to January 3 {2021}. The location is: Ethel M’s, 2 Cactus Garden Dr, Henderson, NV 89014. Call for more information: 702-435-2608

As always, the display is free and open to the public – but reservations will be required. Please visit The Cactus Garden’s official website for ordering information. Book early as some days are already selling out completely and many days have certain hours sold out or running out of time slots. You might get lucky get lucky by just showing up and be able to get around your visit time, but why take chances?

Facing restrictions is also Santa Claus. But never to be one beaten by challenges, Santa will always find away, just as he did one foggy night. This year, he will be present and available – but only via a plexiglass wall decorated like you are staring into his home at the North Pole. He will not be available every night, so if you are wanting to get pictures with him, you should check the schedule of dates on the Ether M’s website, booking tickets for those days.

Hot chocolate and fresh sweet treats will be available from the food truck outside the garden. Please respect social distancing while at the truck and please properly dispose of all trash.

A caring part of their home town, Ethel M’s is requesting donations of dry food or toys to be provided to HELP of Southern Nevada and Three Square Food Bank. Donation bins will be available at the check-in tent and other locations around the garden. You can also ask about opportunities to donate cash, other items or volunteer opportunities. More information about each organization is available by clicking the links above.
