Blueberry Cobbler Camp Fire Style

Dessert is a standard with many home cooked meals, so why should being in a campsite be any different. Nothing follows a home style meal better then a home styled dessert like Blueberry Cobbler. Family and friends may like this so much they will ask you to make it even when not camping.

This recipe is easily adaptable to other fruits such as Apple, Peach or Strawberry for whose that prefer them or as a change of pace.

Can also be served with Ice Cream if you have some available in the travel trailer freezer.

    Ingredients:

  • 4 cups blueberries
  • ΒΌ cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 can biscuit dough

    Directions:

  • Rinse blueberries, transfer to a mixing bowl, and add flour and sugar
  • Add blueberries to an 8-in foil pan. Cover with foil and set over coals for 10 minutes, stirring briefly.
  • Cook for another 5-10 minutes, then add a layer of biscuit dough.
  • Cover and cook an additional 5-10 minutes until biscuit layer is golden brown.
