World Long Drive Qualifying – Mesquite

One of the best grids in long drive is only a 75 mile drive from Las Vegas.

Mesquite, Nevada has a long, deep history with the sport. The Mesquite Regional Sports and Event Complex has hosted qualifying for the Volvik World Long Drive Championship since 2008 and made Jason Zuback, Sean “The Beast” Fister and Jamie Sadlowski legends when it hosted the Volvik World Long Drive Championship from 1997 to 2012.

This event is a qualifier for the annual Volvik World Long Drive Championship
Qualifying events feature two days of qualifying followed by a Final Qualifier on each of those days. Each day of Preliminary Qualifying will feature four qualification events per the times listed above. Each preliminary event will produce four different winners. Those four, will advance to the Final Qualifier held that day. The Final Qualifier consists of 16 competitors that advanced from the Preliminary Qualifiers, whom will compete in a five set point format. The top three hitters advance to the field for the 2019 Volvik World Long Drive Championship at WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma. The same process is repeated on Day 2 for Preliminary and Final Qualifying.
