We are the Gold Prospectors Association of America, Las Vegas Chapter also known as the LVGPAA. We are one of the largest GPAA chapters in the United States having over 300 local members and guests who come from all over the world to attend our monthly meetings as well as our outings.
Many of our members have been Gold Prospecting for decades, others are just getting started.
There is a wealth of knowledge and history within our group.

Our goal is to provide you with useful information about our organization that we hope will make it easier for you to get out and share our adventures.
The Las Vegas Chapter of the Gold Prospectors Association of America (LVGPAA) has been active in southern Nevada since 2001.
As a large group of outdoor loving individuals we know how to get out and have a good time.
Our members combined have a wealth of information to share and don’t mind helping beginners learn how to find gold.
