The Carson Rifle and Pistol Club is a non-profit, incorporated in Nevada. Our purpose is to promote social welfare and public safety, to educate and train citizens in the safe and efficient handling of small arms, to encourage organized small arms shooting programs for sporting purposes, and to encourage lawful ownership and proper use of small arms.

Through a use agreement with Carson City, the club administers the city-owned Carson City Rifle and Pistol Range. Under the Carson City Parks and Recreation Department, our club provides volunteer certified Range Safety Officers to support use of the range by the general public. The club also manages the reservation system for use of range facilities by approved groups and commercial entities.
Operating hours are established by the Carson City Parks and Recreation Department.
The range is open to the general public on Sundays only, sunrise to sunset.
