Oh my, how these have rapidly changed in the years since my first purchase of one in 2002. Back then it was more like a keep the temperature close to where the food was initially – maybe. It had a warmer option but would most keep an already hot dish about room temperature. The cooler option would not cool a hot dish to refrigerator temp in a day. Plus it was not very large and considering the value – price / feature / function, not really cheap.
Today’s slate of available options are another subject.
