A large flat dry lake bed that offers only novice or beginner terrain. No services or facilities are available. Strong winds are common that can produce dirt devils and blowing dust/debris. The some areas are often littered with trash, broken glass and scrap metal so care must be taken when riding in the area.
There are few side trails or exploratory tracks that are easily found or marked. This is a great place for kids to practice and have a few hours of fun or to test/break in a new motor. Other nearby areas offer better riding opportunities and camping areas.
Be aware that while the area is a dry lake bed, following local and seasonal rains, the area can retain water or be muddy/soft. The lower down you are in the area, the more opportunity there is to encounter muddy areas.
Practice the Leave No Trace rules – do not do unnecessary damage to the terrain and remove your trash when you leave.
