Nevada State park offering camping, fishing, hiking. Eastern Nevada’s most remote park and is a popular area for hikers and nature enthusiasts who enjoy its primitive and rustic character. The 5,500-acre park is located approximately 34 miles east of Caliente adjacent to the Utah border. Riding ATVs at this time is prohibited inside the park.
Fort Churchill was once an active U.S. Army fort. Built in 1861 to provide protection for early settlers, it was abandoned nine years later.
