Box Car Museum

Caliente is the half-way point between Los Angeles and Salt Lake City for the Union Pacific Railroad. The town and it’s mission-style train depot served as a bustling hub during the railroad’s heyday. The history of the city is intertwined with the evolution of the railroad in America.

The museum showcases documents and artifacts from Caliente’s unique and intriguing history.
